During the year Costa Rica receives enough rain to mantain landscapes lush and green. Fortunately, this country has both dry and rainy season, changing the river levels, but keeping their flow year-round.
Nearly all the country´s rivers being in the mountains, where many are frothy white water routes perfect for rafting and kayaking. Once those rivers flow into the lowlands they become languid waterways, many of which are lined with verdant walls of vegetation. One of the most popular ones is the Rio Celeste ( Blue River), for it´s natural amazing coloring.
Those lowland rivers are excellent routs for scenic productions, and river navigation in Costa Rica has been one of the adventure tv show´s favorites.
